Crip Camp – A Disability Revolution is an Oscar nominated documentary film (the first time there was a ramp to the stage at the Academy Awards) and an audience winner at the Sundance Film Festival. It tells the story of a groundbreaking camp in the early ‘70’s in the Catskills where kids of varying ability levels where given the opportunity for freedom and expression that some of them had never experienced before. From these bonds and friendship came activism and political change that would change the future for millions. Experience a summer camp like no other!
