Gateway Welcomes New CEO – Mary Ann Hildebrandt

It is with great pleasure that Gateway Community Industries Board of Directors announces the appointment of Mary Ann Hildebrandt as the new President and CEO.

Mrs. Hildebrandt has been a valued member of Gateway Community Industries for over 35 years. She has held various positions including 23 years as the Director of Rehabilitation Services with responsibility for developing, implementing and coordinating all of Gateway Community Industries’ vocational and therapeutic services.

Through the years she has been involved as an active member of various committees (MH and MRDD) with our trade association, NYSRA; served as the Gateway liaison to the Ulster County Community Services Board/MRDD Committee. She was a founding member of the Ulster County Vocational Planning Committee and currently is a member of the Hudson Valley Quality Assurance and Compliance Workgroup and the Taconic DDSO Quality Assurance Committee.

Mrs. Hildebrandt currently sits on the following boards and board sub-committees: HealthAlliance Foundation Board, HealthAlliance Foundation Finance Committee, Ulster County Department of Health Board, and the YWCA of Ulster County Finance Committee. Previously, she has served as President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of the YWCA of Ulster County and was honored as the YWCA Woman of the Year in 2006.

A local Kingston High School graduate, she holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Nelson A. Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, State University of New York at Albany as well as a Bachelor of Science – Liberal Arts, State University College at Oneonta.

The Board of Directors is confident that her leadership and vision will allow Gateway Community Industries to continue moving forward in serving our communities.
